How to Invert the Major Brands Filter using Custom Filters
Let’s say for arguments sake that you wish to only engage certain white-listed brands, and no others. Just for argument's sake you can invert the major brands filter for such a purpose.
Instructions
The default Major Brands filter discards item when they are in the MB file. Instead, let’s create a custom filter that discards when the brand is not in the file.
Open “Filters”
Click “Add Custom Filter”
Type and select “Major Brand?”
Select the operator “Is False”
The rest is easy - edit your major brands file to only contain the brands that you wish to have returned. The ‘major brand?’ field will be ‘true’ if the brand is in your file, and ‘false’ when it isn’t, which is what we discard instead.
